From January 21st to January 25th 2023, Rimini’s Sigep returns, the 44th International Exhibition
of Gelato, Confectionery, Bakery and Coffee.

We at Hiber will be present at Stand 120 – Hall. B1 to present our machines dedicated to pastry and gelato making.

Moreover, the Sweet Challenge is back!
This year it will be Flower Power edition! 8 irresistible competitions and live show cooking
themed brioches, Single-serving desserts, pralines, crema catalana, gelato and sorbet!

For his team, Hiber is fielding Simone Porcelli, class of 1980. Pastry chef, consultant and lecturer at various cookery schools, the world of yeast has no has no secrets.

Here is the calendar of all the challenges!

SATURDAY 21 JANUARY

  • 10 a.m. – GOOD MORNING SIGEP! Theme test: brioches (colours, flavours, shapes, fillings, decorations)
  • 3.00 p.m. – A MATCHED HEART! Creativity test: single portions for Valentine’s Day (The best decorations for chocolate or strawberry mousse)

SUNDAY 22 JANUARY

  • 10 a.m. – PRALINE WITH SURPRISE – Creativity test: pralines with ganache in flavours
  • 3 p.m. – ALL YOU NEED IS GELATO – Mystery box: sorbet

MONDAY 23 JANUARY

  • 10 a.m. – GOOD MORNING SIGEP! Theme test: brioches (colours, flavours, shapes, fillings, decorations)
  • 3 p.m. – JOURNEY TO SPAIN – Creativity test: crema catalana in a variant

TUESDAY 24 JANUARY

  • 10 a.m. – PRALINE WITH SURPRISE – Creativity test: pralines with ganache in flavours
  • 3.00 p.m. – ALL YOU NEED IS GELATO – Mystery box: gelato
